Following closely are LyondellBasell, a major U.S. producer of plastics and chemicals, and Linde, an Ireland-based global leader in industrial gases and engineering. Newcomers to the top five include China’s Hengli Petrochemical and Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical Group, signaling Asia’s growing influence.
