SMEs in Mexico - Statistics & Facts
Every year, well over one million Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) close their business in Mexico. In the latest data available, that represented more than 85 percent of the newly created SMEs in the Aztec country. The so-called PyMEs (for its acronym in Spanish) are divided into three smaller categories: micro from one to ten employees, small from 11 to 50 workers, and medium from 51 to 250 employees.
