Online shopping behavior in France - statistics & facts
Over the last few years, the purchase behavior of French shoppers has drastically shifted. In 2024, about three in four people shopped online and consumers aged 30 to 44 years old reported an even higher adoption rate, at 92 percent. The figures were almost unthinkable a decade earlier, as the e-commerce penetration rate stood at roughly 59 percent in 2015.
