E-commerce in Peru – statistics & facts
The adoption of e-commerce has enabled Peruvians from Cusco to Lima to access a wide range of products and services with just a few clicks. With a year-over-year growth of over 2 billion U.S. dollars, the Andean nation achieved more than 15 billion U.S. dollars in business-to-consumer (B2C) online sales in 2024, a historical high for the South American nation. In 2025, e-commerce was forecast to account for over 10 percent of Peru's retail market, establishing itself as one of the Latin American countries with the highest e-commerce market share.
