Russia has the 10th-largest toys and games market worldwide, with its revenue estimated at nearly two billion U.S. dollars in 2023. The retail trade share of games and toys in the country stood at 1.6 percent in 2023, up 0.2 percentage points from two years prior. However, this expansion has been accompanied by price increases. The consumer price index (CPI) for toys, games, and hobby goods indicated that in 2023 these items cost 2.6 percent more than in the previous year. Notably, stuffed toys experienced the highest price growth among all categories, with an increase of over five percent from 2022.
